Forest of Fear: CANCELED

The Forrest of Fear event planned for Saturday 11/1/08 has been canceled. Contrary to prior belief, the Forrest of Fear concluded Sunday 10/26/08.

Potential Newbies!!

Anyone who wishes to join the North Salem Venture crew is welcome to do so.

Keep in mind:

• In order to join the Venture crew, you must be at least 14 years old.
• Meetings are currently held on Sunday in the afternoon. Focus is balanced between work and play.
• Activities are scheduled at the digression of the crew.
• No mandatory attendance. If you need to miss a meeting, we understand. You can always contact someone and ask for updates. There is no penalty for missing a meeting.
• Activities range from camping to city-adventure. If you want to do it, we'll work to make it happen.
• Can be put on your College transcript.

And popcorn we shall sell... as well as other items that we may come to find worthwhile

As discussed at the first meeting, were gonna need some funding if we want to go on something big. This, supposedly, is the way to do it.

Post if you have suggestions about:

• Places to sell.
• Ways to sell.
• Other items to sell.

We'll be getting into this as soon as we can, so, be ready to help out!

P.S. - This post will be updated as new information emerges regarding fund raising.

88 MPH or BUST

Venture crew, we are officially going back in time (somewhat...) this Saturday, September 20th.
Its the New York Metropolitan Renaissance Faire if you haven't caught on!

Important info:

• Meeting at Lions Club at 8:45, leaving by 9:00. If you aren't there, your not going.
• Tickets are $20.00
• Food and Drink are not provided and are notably expensive. Please have plenty of cash to ensure that you don't find yourself hungry or thirsty. Bringing a drink is heavily recommended.
• You are encouraged to dress up. Not required.
• The Faire concludes at 7pm. Attendees will be home by 8pm at the latest, but likely earlier.
• Be well rested! Its a day on your feet! Wear appropriate footwear even if it conflicts with your costume!
  
• Sunscreen is essential, the event is completely outdoors, be prepared.

Welcome to the World...of Venture Crew.

Going into a new year of Venture that will hopefully be stronger and better than last year! We've had our first meeting at which we played around as well as discussing the major plans for the new year!
